Position: Convenience Store Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Position Summary:
As a Convenience Store Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of multiple facilities. Your responsibilities will include general maintenance tasks such as basic electrical, plumbing, construction, and various repair projects. We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Essential Functions:
Must be mechanically inclined, understand the basics of skilled trades and have the desire to learn more.
Ability to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and able to use a ladder.
Work closely with service vendors for materials.
Ensures a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations set forth by the company.
Attend and participate in all work-related meetings, scheduled inventories and training classes. Willing to obtain and maintain all certifications as required by manufacturers and local/state/federal law.
Learn to troubleshoot and repair all petroleum related issues and willingness to expand knowledge in this field.
Responsibilities:
Performs regular inspections of all assigned store and reports the condition of equipment and property, as well as maintenance status.
Assists when necessary in the installation of equipment resulting from special projects or supporting other technicians in regions outside of their own.
Performs preventative maintenance service, emergency repair and cosmetic repair on store equipment and property.
Work individually as well as in a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment at store locations and also assist with special projects such as remodels, new store openings or acquisitions.
Operate of a company assigned vehicle in safe and responsible manner.
Communicate issues and provide feedback to the Facility Support Manager regarding maintenance issues, facility/equipment opportunities and outside service vendor performance.
Complete assigned work by required deadline.
Respond to high priority calls according to company guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
Valid Driver's license.
Basic trade skills - painting, lights, minor electric, plumbing, construction, etc.
