SUNY Upstate Medical University Clinical Assistant Professor in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

The successful candidate is expected to play an integral role with the current burn surgery team in providing intensive, acute and reconstructive surgical care for patients with burn injuries. This candidate will also be expected to care for patients with traumatic injuries, emergency surgical conditions and surgical critical care patients.

The candidate will be expected to participate in teaching and training medical students and surgery residents.

Administrative duties include committee work in hospital, Medical School and all other departmental administrative duties assigned by chief.

Minimum Qualifications:

MD/DO, NYS License or eligible. Must be board certified or eligible in General Surgery. Fellowship training in burn surgery and surgical care is preferred.

Monday - Friday; Availability on weeknights and weekends for call
