KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works for Air Handler New Product Development Engineering team to code configurable and parametric designs into a manufacturable product.
Works with 3D geometry and engineering rules to directly support manufacturing using sheet metal flats and bills of material to final forms and assemblies.
Must be able to work with, understand, and debug preexisting code written in JavaScript, XML, VBA, and SAP language (ABAP)
TYPICAL EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent discipline preferred.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to interpret technical specifications
Ability to understand and organize large sets of data
Ability to understand and optimize complex physical and conceptual processes
Ability to work with others on the design team to understand and translate the design into JavaScript modules that drive the configurable product.
Programming mindset with an aptitude for thinking in 3D.
Sheet metal, mechanical, and electrical design experience is preferred
HVAC experience is a plus.
Ambitious self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced design environment.
The ability for developing continuous improvement projects to influence and drive change
Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
Ability to comprehend customer needs and establish appropriate actions.
Demonstrate an ability to deliver successful designs under tight timing constraints.
Ability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
