VCA Shop City Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in Syracuse, New York.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.
At Shop City, we are an AAHA-accredited hospital and we have a passionate and supportive team that strives to give the best patient care and client satisfaction we possibly can, every day. We are equipped with digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and provide surgery, Fear-Free handling, boarding, and cold laser therapy as well.

Beautiful Syracuse is a great location for the outdoor enthusiast! Our hospital is partnered with 2 different shelter/rescue groups in the area and we are passionate about those relationships. If you’re looking for something to do on your weekend, downtown Syracuse is just a short drive away!
Schedule for full-time doctors includes 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with a rotating half day on Saturday. No on call hours!!
There are many attractions locally and within a few hours’ drive. Adirondack Mountains, NYS Fair, the Finger lakes and wine country, and Destiny USA – the area’s premier shopping destination!

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $120K - $150K, D.O.E. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
