Syracuse University Associate Director Enterprise Applications-HR/Payroll in Syracuse, New York

The Associate Director Enterprise Applications - HR, Payroll, Business & Finance reports to the Director of Information Technology & Services and is responsible for the overall deployment and user experience with enterprise systems. This includes PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, Financials/Supply Chain and integrated systems. This position works closely with the functional leads in business units to understand their objectives, and to optimize the use of delivered features and integrations of on-premise and cloud-based applications.
The Associate Director supervises IT analyst/developers in the support of the applications, including fit-gap analysis, design and development of solutions as well as troubleshooting and problem solving. Centralization of IT analysis and decision-making ensures consistent and effective practice of security, accessibility, and usability standards.
As a member of the leadership team in Enterprise Application Services, they contribute to project planning for product updates, upgrades, integrations, and customizations. This includes project analysis and management.
