Syracuse University Administrative Specialist I in Syracuse, New York

The Administrative Specialist will assist in the day-to-day operational activities of the department while performing administrative functions using diplomacy, discretion, and exercising independent judgement. The responsibilities include but are not limited to project management, review of financial transactions ensuring accuracy and staying within the budget for the CAS/MAX office, preparation and management of purchase requisitions, university credit card reconciliation, training and supervision of student employees, assist with and oversee administrative duties related to yearly programs, such as Career Fairs, Immersion Programs, Alumni & Employer Events, and other programs related to career development, arrange travel for staff and process related expense reimbursement, coordination of department and working groups meetings, and other duties as assigned.

This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.
