Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to ensure OTIF goals through active engagement in order fulfillment, document preparation, and shipping/receiving processes. This role involves continuous improvement, compliance with policies, and providing support to site administration. The ideal candidate will work towards gaining competence in key areas of Supply Chain and assist in maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Responsibilities
Actively engage in order fulfillment, document preparation, and shipping/receiving processes to ensure OTIF goals.
Notify others of warehouse concerns to improve productivity, service, and cost management, and assist in resolving issues.
Work on continuous improvement using self IDPs and reviews to meet organizational expectations.
Comply with GWP’s, SOP’s, corporate and distribution-logistics policies, rules, and regulations.
Provide assistance and support to all site administration as outlined by the supervisor.
Develop competence in key Supply Chain areas such as ERP, WMS, and APICS.
Gain competence in standard operations within all areas of administration to support inventory, systems, office, and overall distribution functions.
Cover and ensure breaks, lunches, and other staffing needs of the Administration Group.
Comply with all legal and safety requirements concerning Supply Chain Administration and report concerns.
Report food safety concerns and initiate actions to support SQF/HACCP/FSMA by maintaining food safety processes and documentation.
Ensure work areas are sanitary and adhere to sanitation practices, supporting health/wellness controls and programs.
Communicate effectively between shifts, departments, and other sites as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience highly preferred
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position with a schedule of Tuesday to Saturday from 2pm to 10:30pm.
The work environment includes a well-known and growing company with a great tight-knit team, and amenities such as 'employee of the month' parking.
