Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in SYOSSET, New York. The role involves managing and supervising accounting functions in a diverse industry setting. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in their work, and will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Manage and maintain customer credit records, ensuring they are up to date and accurate
• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts or applications
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and analyze financial data
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all accounting functions
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payment and billing
• Utilize ERP solutions to manage and integrate the company's financial data
• Perform regular auditing of financial documents and procedures
• Use Microsoft Excel and other MS Dynamics AX tools for financial reporting and analysis. Requirements
• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role in accounting.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is essential.
• The candidate should have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must.
• The candidate should be skilled in Auditing procedures.
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is necessary.
• The candidate should have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
