National Dentex Administrative Shipping & Receiving Specialist in Sylvania, Ohio

Description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at Dresch Dental Lab in Sylvania, OH for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Unpacking of all returned cases.

  • Sorts and attaches doctor prescriptions.

  • Responsible for invoicing all finished cases and will sort and attach.

  • Responsible for properly packing all completed cases.

  • Responsible for verifying and properly consolidating all cases to prepare for shipping.

  • Responsible for sorting out COD shipments and sending them with proper amounts. Maintain a log in excel of all COD’s shipped including detail of amounts calculated.

  • Responsible for sorting out and properly sending packages that requires express services.

  • Responsible for utilizing UPS and FedEx software and properly maintaining database integrity and account naming procedures.

  • Disburse cases for local drivers.

  • Monitors and maintains proper levels of operational supplies.

  • Maintain proper level of assembled shipping boxes.

  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining supply rooms.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area free of debris.

  • Responsible for removing waste and recycling materials to the hallway.

  • Unpacking and sanitizing new work as needed following instruction which includes wearing protective gear.

  • Assist with filing completed paperwork properly.

  • Assist with supply request fulfillment as needed.

  • Computer skills

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Multi task

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • No experience required

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Disinfectant process chemicals

  • Personal protective equipment as required.

  • Office equipment

  • Insert hazardous materials and/or equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach

  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions

  • Good hand-eye coordination

  • Good manual dexterity

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time

  • Repeated bending and kneeling

  • Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color

  • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
