ProMedica Flower Hospital is located in Sylvania OH, a suburb of Toledo, OH. The Flower Hospital campus is a 311-bed facility that houses the Hickman Cancer Center, ER Trauma Center, and is the regional leader for inpatient adult psychiatric services. The campus includes, the Goerlich Center, which provides residence for patients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, along with the Ebeid Center our hospice facility.
This position is under the direction of a radiologist and the Nuclear Medicine Technical chief. Principle duties and responsibilities include: Perform procedures in an efficient, productive manner, ensuring films are of the highest possible technical quality. Calculates proper dosage according to prescribed treatment, patient's age and weight, laboratory results and other pertinent information. Maintains proficiency in the utilization of all nuclear medicine systems and the performance of all technical procedures. Utilizes the computerized Radiology Information System, educates patients about their procedures and ensures patient's and their family's comfort and needs are appropriately addressed. Posses the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks, follow instructions and competent to care for patients of all ages to include neonates, children, adolescents adults and geriatric populations. Provides excellent patient care and customer service at all times and adheres to all ProMedicas' Standards of Behavior.
High School graduate or equivalent
Satisfactory completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine training program
AART (N) and or CNMT registered and/or hold an Ohio Operator's License for Nuclear Medicine
