Amazon Senior Program Manager - Vendor Experience in Sydney, Australia

Description

Amazon’s Retail team, located in Sydney, is looking for a customer obsessed Senior Program Manager to develop and lead programs that drive improvements in the overall experience of vendors. You will be responsible for owning multiple workstreams that span areas including supplier contact support, education and training materials, and products that improve ease of doing business. To deliver this, you will own and develop a roadmap and be required to flex between owning the direct execution of initiatives and driving delivery through a variety of local and global cross-functional stakeholders.

As the Senior Program Manager for Vendor Experience (VX), you will be required to keep the voice of vendor central within decisions of the Retail business. The successful candidate will be customer obsessed and proficient in combining data and anecdotes to identify top pain points, prioritise accordingly, measure impact, and iterate when required. You will be required to build and lead the development of a VX roadmap that significantly improves the experience for vendors and be able to clearly communicate this vision to generate buy-in on initiatives to enable delivery. The successful candidate will be able to effortlessly move between strategic and tactical work and be able to drive delivery of initiatives across a distributed stakeholder set.

Key job responsibilities

• Leadership to define and develop the VX strategy covering both short and long term planning.

• Develop and own the delivery of a multi-year VX roadmap. Continually iterate on this with new initiatives and insights each year.

• Own the reporting and updates of workstream performance and implement short to medium term actions to bridge performance when required.

• Work with global and local partner product, operational, and business teams to generate buy-in on roadmap initiatives, secure capacity, influence and make trade-offs, and deliver product or programmatic solutions that improve VX.

• Own the launch and post-launch processes for new products that deliver scalable and/or automated solutions to program priorities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
