Collaborating closely with the Food and Beverage Leadership Team, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager who is charming, strategic and a savvy operator to run the successful operating Gallery Tea Lounge and Bar in Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park.
As a hands-on leader, you will be supporting a dedicated team and have a thorough understanding of providing exceptional food and beverage service. With a strong focus on guest experience and continual training for our team that will provide a truly unique and premium dining experience. You will have the chance to make and develop this team as your own.
Our ideal candidate will possess a can do attitude and desire to grow within Hospitality’s #1 hotel company- Marriott.
About the Role:
Assist the F&B Leadership Team with the daily operation of the venue
Lead your own team to success
Being an active leader in planning and implementing seasonal offerings e.g. Christmas themed High Tea
Ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and profit contribution
Take ownership of and o f fer problem solving initiatives
Ensure both the Guest’s and Hotel/Departments interests are met and resolved with a positive result for all
About You:
Passionate about high quality service
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a restaurant environment
A la carte service trained
Strong coffee knowledge and skills
Understanding of Micros Simphony POS preferred
Must have full Australian work rights and be flexible to work a rotating roster
Must have NSW RSA
