What will you do
Our company seeks an International Logistics Associate, that will be responsible for maintaining commercial invoice templates as well as ensuring accuracy while completing Export
paperwork.
How will you get here
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university. Logistics degree preferred.
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Maintain a basic knowledge of U.S. Export regulations
Responsible for Export paperwork accuracy
Be knowledgeable of U.S. Export, ACE and Census Bureau Requirements
Maintain commercial invoice templates and create order specific invoices
Track proforma invoices and license applications to ensure timely completion
Ensure relevant order related paperwork is filed in accordance with regulatory and study requirements
Remain current on all Export Regulations and provide suggestions for change to internal practices accordingly
Ensures compliance with the International and U.S. laws related to Export activity
Works with team members and Supervisors to identify and resolve problems
Interacts with cross functional support teams (Client Services, Distribution, QA, etc.)
May work on projects with peers from other departments or functions
Recognize strategic opportunities for process improvement within the Logistics group
Establishes clear timelines for accomplishing goals
Independently solves routine problems/issues. Seeks advice/input on more complex problems.
Adopts Practical Process Improvement (PPI)
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision of the 4 I’s: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of international commerce—Duties and Taxes and VAT payment terms, customs regulations, country requirements and international supply chain processes.
Must be detail oriented
Effective interpersonal skills
Able to handle basic projects
Individuals typically gain experience as import/export coordinators and international transportation planners.
Proficiency in skills required to read, understand, and adhere to the SOPs and policies of a GMP environment.
1-3 years of related experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to physically perform duties of position which include: Exert up to 10lbs of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Position may involve prolonged sitting but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
May need stoop, reach or bend.
