Stevens Treatment Programs Temporary Maintenance Worker in Swansea, Massachusetts
TEMPORARY MAINTENANCE WORKER (approx: 90 days) During their shift, the Maintenance Worker significantly contributes to the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Stevens facility and grounds. The Maintenance Worker participates in insuring that the agencys physical plant, equipment, vehicles and grounds are maintained in a safe, functionable and attractive condition. The Maintenance Worker also contributes to the snow and ice removal for the physical plant and maintains the roads and walkways during snow emergencies. Schedule: Monday Friday 10am 6pm Payrate: \$17.50 Requirements: A High School education or its equivalent. Valid, current drivers license and acceptable driving record Acceptable EEC Background Record Check A minimum of one year experience in maintenance work, and must possess satisfactory knowledge of plumbing, general mechanics, carpentry, painting, as well as exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks on a daily basis. Demonstrated understanding of maintenance issues. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative manner with a variety of disciplines within an organization. Demonstrated ability to relate to adults and emotionally disturbed adolescents. A minimum of three professional and/or personal satisfactory references. Ability to be on-call for emergency snow removal is a must
