The Job

As a Sr. Project Manager, you’ll be part of our Global Strategy Office team. Specifically, you will support and drive key elements within the GSC operating model as outlined:

  • Lead and drive strategic transformational workstreams and projects in partnership with the Global Supply Chain and Business Unit leadership teams. Activities include:

  • Execute strategic initiatives on time and on cost, with minimum disruptions to the existing business.

  • Execute robust governance models, project implementation, risk mitigation, and contingency plans.

  • Effectively delegate project tasks to the appropriate owners

  • Collaborate with internal team members to share best practices, methodology, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Ability to communicate progress, risks, and escalations with the project teams as well as upwards in the organization.

  • Collaborate with financial partners and regional SC teams to monitor and track to financial targets and budgets for strategic initiatives.

  • Drive business case build (i.e. cost benefit analysis) for each discrete optimization project

  • Partner with Global Supply Chain leadership team and different functional groups to understand interdependencies

  • Utilize project management tools to accurately scope and track project performance and interdependencies

  • Functional leader on weekly project team calls

  • Develop and own content that is presented in steering committee environment

  • Develop and execute project plans including resource requirements, deliverables, milestones, and completion timelines

  • Work through conflicting issues, roadblocks and dependencies; proactively manage risks, changes and communication with project stakeholders

The Person:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain or related business discipline required

  • 3-5 years of supply chain project management experience required

  • Experience in a dynamic, large company environment.

  • Extensive operating experience improving current business processes or implementing proven best practices

  • Experience leading projects for multiple clients simultaneously

  • A track record of delivering on agreed upon project objectives

  • Well experienced in summarizing and presenting business information to all levels in organizations

  • Proven expertise in Business Case Modeling and Project Management

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload

  • Highly detail oriented, with excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to coordinate internal resources in a matrix environment to accomplish project objectives

  • Time management skills

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet

  • Have or obtain PMP certification within 12 months
