UL, LLC Senior Project Engineer (EMC/RF) in Suzhou, China
Serves as project engineer for Suzhou EMC/RF lab.
Independently manages and defines project scope for EMC/RF projects. Determines project specifications such as cost, time, and sample requirements by analyzing client input, available supplemental data, and product construction.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned standards, industries and test capabilities.
Has a detailed understanding of test techniques, procedures and equipment. Performs standard test procedures when necessary.
Supports sales to help the customer and the lab to agree on completion dates and sample requirements within the area they are assigned.
Takes the lead on project status communications and client concerns. Works with the team to resolve any customer issues.
Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques in relation to the area they are assigned and within their SME subject.
Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
Support the business externally through travelling to meetings at client sites, attendance at industry related events and other meetings.
Performs other duties as directed.
Electronic/information background, bachelor degree or above
Proficiency in English listening and speaking
Familiar with EMC/RF regulations and test standards of various countries, industries, as well as test technology
3 - 5 years’ experience in EMC/RF testing
Familiar with CNAS/CMA/A2LA requirements and technical compliance
