       License and Certification Qualifications: Meets Georgia certification requirements in appropriate field of study preferred.Education Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in related field required. Master's degree in related field preferred. Coaching certification preferred.Experience Qualifications: Three years teaching experience or working with challenging behaviors and strong classroom management skills. Experience with staff training and coaching, data collection and analysis, and behavior intervention planning required.Skills Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills, management, and leadership; ability to work with individuals, small groups, classroom groups, and collaboratively with stakeholders; ability to communicate effectively through demonstrated strong oral and written skills; demonstrated skills in organization and problem solving; ability to analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement. Deep understanding of behavior, function of behavior, and behavior intervention strategies; ability to present, train and coach staff in positive classroom culture and effective classroom management techniques; and ability to work successfully with colleagues, teachers, and administrators and ability to act as a representative of Gwinnett County Public Schools.Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for providing guidance and support to teachers and staff to create strong tiered supports through multi-tiered systems of supports primarily focusing on positive inclusive learning environments. Provide evidenced and researched-based resources, strategies, and interventions for the support of effective Tier 1 and Tier 2 implementation. Utilize the MTSS Framework as a connection to appropriate support personnel, including, behavior contracts, targeted SEL support, restorative and reflections strategies, counselors, social workers, and/or school nurse. This position may be assigned to a cluster, district-wide, or school-specific location.1. Train teachers, administrators, and staff on Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and strategic planning and implementation for strong Tier 1 and Tier 2 development including, screening, data use and decision protocols, appropriate tiered interventions, services, and supports for Tier 1 and 2 and progress monitoring.2. Train teachers, administrators, and staff on Positive Behaviors and Intervention Supports (PBIS) with the development of tiered behavior supports and interventions with a strong focus on developing a robust Tier 1.3. Train teachers, administrators, and staff on developing researched based behavior strategies to support and increase positive behaviors through the selection of appropriate tiered behavior supports and intervention.4. Serve as a member of district MTSS Team and consultant to local school MTSS teams.5. Conduct MTSS support planning meetings with schools to discuss behavior supports and intervention; address classroom organization, effective instruction, social skills instruction, data sources and decision protocols for identifying tiered support level.6. Attend professional development opportunities to maintain high level of skill and knowledge of current research and best practices for behavior support and interventions and positive classroom climate and culture.7. Provide training and support to teachers, administrators, and staff on effective classroom organization and management techniques.8. Provide coaching and training to teachers on developing and maintaining strong, positive, and appropriate relationships with all students through the use of effective social-emotional learning strategies (SEL) connections to increase student engagement and support improved student outcomes.9.
