Job Title: CNC Lathe Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC lathes, preferably with Nakamura machines. This role involves reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and performing inspections to ensure high-quality production.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC lathe machines, with a preference for Nakamura models.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise machining.
Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform accurate measurements and inspections.
Troubleshoot and change tooling as necessary.
Conduct appropriate inspections using mics, calipers, and go/no-go gauges.
Maintain high-precision and quality standards in all produced parts.
Essential Skills
3+ years of CNC lathe operating experience.
Proficiency with Fanuc controls.
Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation.
Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to perform precise measurements and inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Nakamura CNC lathes is preferred.
Familiarity with machining and inspection processes.
Ability to work independently in a small, job-shop environment.

Work Environment
This position is for the 2nd shift, from 2pm to 10:30pm. You will work in a small, job-shop environment. While the current facility is not the cleanest, we are planning to move to a newer facility in Sussex (Plant 3) which will house all of Plant 2's machines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sussex, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
