Meaningful Work From Day One

The scope of the role is focused on being the core business partner to our marketing teams (encompassing brand, channel marketing, innovation, IMC and insights) in supporting the business to make better decisions everyday, as well as driving our revenue growth management agenda through ownership of our pricing strategy and operational execution.

What You Can Expect

● Supports the Marketing Director and brand teams in developing the strategic direction and optimizing the deployment of marketing investment.

● Partners with the leadership team on key strategic support, including financial modeling of long term market outlook, major portfolio change projects and major vendor contact renewals etc.

● Supports the business through the analytics, consultation, presentation and execution of the bi-annual CPI pricing process.

● Support greater focus on our spend optimisation through embedment of measurement and evaluation of A&P.

● Drive improved efficiency of business operations through continually streamlining, automating and systemising both processes and tools in pricing operations and spend management.

● Support a range of extended stakeholders as the key finance support for innovation, global brand teams, NZ & South Pacific market and commercial operations team.

What You Bring to the Table

● Proven experience in a finance and/or commercial role within consumer products ideally

● Outstanding communication and leadership abilities ensuring effective influence at all levels in a multi-stakeholder environment

● Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions and make recommendations to manage trade-offs

● Demonstrated understanding and application of a broad range of commercial levers that have delivered successful outcomes

What Makes You Unique

● Tertiary qualifications Bachelor of Business/Commerce/Economics with CPA/CA advantageous

● Experience within FMCG sector with similar high duty/excise/regulation industry advantageous

● Proven impact as part of significant strategic / change projects

● SAP, Tableau, Salesforce experience; prior system experience desired but not essential
