Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HVAC Lead Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC installations, exceptional leadership abilities, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service. As the Lead Installation Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing installations of HVAC systems, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage installation projects from start to finish.
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Supervise and train junior technicians and apprentices.
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of field experience as an install/service/repair level technician
- Minimum of 2 years of Lead Technician experience
- Residential and Commercial experience
- EPA certification and other relevant HVAC certifications
- Customer issue resolution and customer service skills
- Ability to complete install/service/repair jobs in a timely manner while maintaining quality
- Ability to install coils and compressors
- Ability to lead ductless, split and package system installations and to complete proper startup procedures
- Must have all standard HVAC hand tools to perform installations and repair HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- Valid drivers license with a clean 39 month driving record (some exceptions)
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test
- Must be able to pass a Background Check
