JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21103 JOB TITLE: #24-89: Assistant or Associate Professor of Business Analytics - School of Business and Economics POSITION: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, FA040 or FA030, 100%, Faculty, Renewable, 9-month appointment, one vacancy. POSITION SUMMARY: The School of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Superior invites applications for the faculty position of tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Business Analytics. The school is seeking individuals who will provide excellent undergraduate instruction, incorporate current techniques in teaching and research, and work collaboratively to strengthen the school\'s business programs. JOB DUTIES: - Provide quality teaching and advise students within the School of Business and Economics (SBE), perform services to the SBE and University, and engage in scholarly activities. - Take a leading role in developing and teaching courses for the rapidly growing Business Analytics major and minor, such as business intelligence, data visualization, data mining, simulation, forecasting and predictive analytics, and advanced business statistics, as well as other business courses as needed. - This position requires an on-campus presence. - Committed to building community among students and faculty within SBE and the university. Click on the Apply for Job button. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: - A PhD or DBA degree in the area of Business Analytics, Management Science, Business Statistics, or a closely related field. A graduate degree from a program accredited by AACSB. - For the rank of assistant professor, an ABD in the mentioned areas will be considered, with an earned doctorate required before the appointment date. - For the rank of Associate Professor, applicants must additionally have the appropriate years of academic experience consistent with university policy and an established record of excellence in teaching and research. - Experience teaching business analytics or business courses at the college level. - Evidence of quality scholarship leading to regular publications and engagement in scholarly activities in relevant professional societies and public outreach. - Demonstrated ability to effectively work with faculty/staff and students from various cultures and backgrounds.
