Job Title: Electrical Bench Technician

Job Description

Currently hiring an immediate avionics bench technician for a 6 month contract to hire role. Required responsibilities involved disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, modification, and reassembly of a variety of aircraft Radio / Electrical and Electrical Mechanical components. Will be tasked with performing routine, non-routine, and preventative maintenance on all electrical mechanical parts of the aircraft in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual and FAA regulations. This position requires ensuring all work complies with approved technical data, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements using appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, manufacturer and airline instructions, service bulletins, drawings, engineering orders, and component maintenance manuals

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting on analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits

  • Experience with oscilloscope, voltmeter, function generator, pulse generator, and battery simulator

  • Expertise in using standard tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets and sockets, torque drivers and wrenches, multi-meters, soldering irons, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, flow meters, psi gauges, temperature measurement tools, and safety wire pliers

  • Effective communication skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sunrise, Florida.

Work Environment

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
