Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical field or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience technical projects with other resources and priorities.
Experience in leading projects with end to end ownership and knowledge of Technical Program Management tools
Experience in financial decision models and technical/business case pitches
Master's degree or MBA degree with a technical emphasis.
Experience with planning and retrofitting of operational data center infrastructure, and/or managing, operating and upgrading large scale distributed systems.
Tenacious problem solver with effective verbal/written communication and facilitation skills.
Comfortable shifting between hands-on detailed analysis and big picture thinking while customizing communication based on the audience.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning and delivery of a Global Retrofit/Upgrades Programs Portfolio, to be executed within operational Data Center campuses.
You will plan requirements with internal customers and ensure project success through the entire project lifecycle. This includes developing project goals and scope, success criteria, building business cases and pitching to management for approvals of capital investment based on data driven analysis and strategic/tactical considerations.
Your knowledge and experience will be essential to the success of the downstream execution teams by removing roadblocks, and ensuring teams have robust project plans, approved funding, training packages/plans, canonical documents and tools/resources needed to successfully deliver within defined performance benchmarks. You will foster a relationship of trust and accountability with internal business partners, supporting the building of high performing alliances with all partners and stakeholders.

Lead the collaboration among Global Retrofit programs, Project Controls, Construction Management and Data Center operations teams to ensure regional and global alignment with procurement and execution strategies as well as creating an environment to support cross functional teams.
Be in charge of stakeholder management and ensuring accountability for planning providing visibility into resource needs. Create plans related to the delivery and management of Google's data center infrastructure upgrades.
Conduct feasibility assessment, develop cost and schedule estimates in collaboration with Data Center execution team subject matter experts.
Develop project plans, present technical and business case pitches, and coordinate reviews/management approvals.
Develop project plans with defined budget, cost and schedules along with canonical set of documents for scope, and technical information report requirements to ensure consistent execution rollout of programs.
