Meta Technical Program Management Intern, Devices (BS/MS) in Sunnyvale, California

Summary:

Meta’s mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. The RL Devices Team is focused on delivering consumer products including Quest, Rayban Meta Smartglasses and augmented reality products. Our direct team is responsible for program management of battery, packaging, softgoods, fan, and sustainability initiatives. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Program Management Intern. As a TPM Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical initiatives during product concept through mass production. You will be paired with a senior mentor to help guide your success in coordinating program schedules, managing day-to-day activities, and communicating program updates to stakeholders. Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long.

Required Skills:

Technical Program Management Intern, Devices (BS/MS) Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the coordination of technical programs and projects

  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical initiatives

  3. Develop and maintain program schedules and manage day-to-day activities

  4. Communicate program updates to stakeholders

  5. Identify and mitigate risks and issues

  6. Contribute to process improvements for the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering

  2. Understanding of program management fundamentals

  3. Experience using strong communication and collaboration skills

  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

  1. Previous internship experience in a technical program management role

  2. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

  3. Familiarity with consumer electronics design cycles and manufacturing processes

  4. Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
