Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program or project management.
Experience with Net Zero, Carbon Neutral, or Decarbonization Initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
2 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience working with and aligning varied stakeholders, and preparing executive level presentations.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and requests simultaneously, and proven success in delivering projects on time and within scope.
Ability to lead without authority, foster trust, and hold team members accountable.
Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Cloud Environmental and Social Initiatives team is responsible for leading Google Cloud’s supply chain and operations to a responsible and environmentally sustainable future.
In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the Net Zero Supplier Engagement team to motivate carbon reduction initiatives that help accelerate the team’s ability to track, report, and reduce hardware supply chain emissions. You will work with stakeholders to manage timelines and deliverables, identify risks, manage escalations, and hold members accountable. You will prepare executive level presentations to enable communicating the hardware supply chain roadmap to achieve Net Zero. You will be responsible for keeping all team members, across time-zones, aligned and aware of changing priorities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Support the Net Zero Supplier Engagement team in motivating decarbonization initiatives throughout the Google hardware supply chain and monthly reporting.
Build project plans and roadmaps related to carbon reduction initiatives, motivating accountability with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Support annual Data Collection process, including supplier engagement and quality assurance of reported data.
Manage prioritization processes at a team and organization level to establish objectives and key results across Engineering and Analytics groups, and functional Net Zero teams.
Engage at a technical level with the data reporting, carbon footprinting, and corporate sustainability teams.
