Google Product Manager II, Securing AI, Google Cloud Security in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • Experience working with Cloud.

  • Experience working with Enterprise customers.

  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with pricing, packaging and launching SKUs with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience with AI/ML technology.

  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will play a critical function in enabling GCP and Cloud Security to develop and deliver products that safeguard infrastructure, data, applications and AI/ML models, ensuring customers can confidently leverage the power of Generative AI within secure and compliant environments.

You'll have the opportunity to make an impact on the enterprise Generative AI market by driving innovation with Model Armor and Notebook Security Scanner. This is a customer-facing role in which you'll define and deliver a compelling roadmap and define go-to-market pathways with several GCP teams that build and promote AI capabilities. You'll focus on analyzing, positioning, promoting, partnering, and ensuring roadmap meets customer needs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Understand the cloud ecosystem, markets, competition, and user requirements.

  • Drive projects through their entire life-cycle (e.g., requirements, design, development, launch, landing).

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, UX, and other cross-functional teams on technologies.

  • Develop innovative solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.

  • Manage products internally (e.g., leadership updates) as well as externally (e.g., Google events, public events, analysts, press interviews).
