Description
We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. This role operates within the industry, focusing on high volume invoice processing and maintenance of accurate financial records. You will be part of a team working onsite, utilizing various accounting software systems to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle high volume invoice processing.
• Utilize Jonas software, training will be provided, to manage financial data.
• Use Avid Exchange POS system, a prerequisite skill, for various financial transactions.
• Perform regular ledger maintenance and journal entries.
• Ensure accurate coding and recording of accounts payable data.
• Verify vendor invoices to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• Assist with the upkeep of general ledgers.
• Conduct month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Carry out account reconciliations as part of regular financial audits.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.
