Position Overview

As aProject Leader EMEA Power Operations, you will drive key projects that optimize processes, improve operations, and support growth across EMEA. You’ll lead initiatives such as industrialization and new product development, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. Your role includes creating conditions for success within Warehouse, Production, and Adaptation operations while promoting continuous improvement, quality, safety, and environmental enhancements. You’ll monitor project progress, address risks, and provide updates to stakeholders. Occasionally, you’ll support Engineering team operations, making a direct impact through innovation and effective leadership.

This role is based on-site at Permobil's brand new cutting-edge innovation center in Birsta, Sundsvall, at the state-of-the-art facility, which unites research, manufacturing, and sustainable practices under one roof. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead improvement projects internally and with external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers,

  • Drive the development, optimization, and alignment of operations with strategic goals,

  • Manage and execute projects, including industrialization initiatives, to simplify processes and support EMEA growth,

  • Oversee the tactical and operational development of new products through adaptation processes, with a comprehensive perspective,

  • Foster conditions for Warehouse, Production, and Adaptation teams to achieve operational goals effectively,

  • Prepare, industrialize, and streamline the integration of new products into production,

  • Address and act upon quality, environmental, and safety deviations,

  • Participate actively in driving continuous improvement,

  • Report and mitigate incidents, accidents, and safety risks as they arise,

  • Suggest and implement process and operational enhancements,

  • Consistently communicate project updates, risks, and progress to stakeholders,

  • Provide support for routine operations within the Engineering team, as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Technical education from a college, university, or equivalent certification / experience,

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office,

  • Familiarity with ERP systems,

  • Proven experience in leading and implementing improvement initiatives,

  • Strong understanding of systems, workflows, methods, and tools related to production preparation, production technology, and industrialization processes,

  • Practical experience with Lean Production methodologies,

  • Proficiency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
