Position Overview

TheManager, Technical Services EMEAwill lead the IT Service Desk and Operations & Infrastructure teams, overseeing a mix of in-house and outsourced services. This role is pivotal in modernizing IT operations, ensuring high performance, security, and availability across hybrid infrastructures. The successful candidate will drive innovation in IT automation, service management, and monitoring while fostering collaboration, guiding a diverse team, and aligning IT services with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee IT Service Desk and Infrastructure Operations across EMEA, ensuring efficient service delivery, secure hybrid infrastructures, and high availability using platforms like Azure, VMware, Windows Server, Linux, Meraki, Intune, SCCM, and the Windows Security Suite.

  • Support technical initiatives by resolving issues, optimizing processes, and implementing scalable solutions with tools like Jira, Confluence, CheckMK, Jenkins and Ansible.

  • Improve workflows, standardize processes, and automate routine tasks to boost efficiency and user satisfaction.

  • Strengthen collaboration between IT Operations and the Service Desk, enhancing communication, knowledge sharing, and problem.

  • Preferred experience: leading cloud migrations and cost-optimization initiatives for both Azure/AWS/IaaS

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets to ensure cost control, SLA compliance, and value delivery.

  • Align IT services with Group IT strategies by planning and executing initiatives to improve services and processes.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration and managing performance.

  • Track IT performance metrics (KPIs), provide updates, and ensure compliance with strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of documented experience in IT Management with team leadership, focusing on Service Desk and Infrastructure Operations. In addition, 3-5 years in a system engineer or architect within IT Operations.

  • Experience in coordinating with multiple third-party outsourcing service providers.

  • Certification in ITIL Foundation V3/V4, demonstrating a solid foundation in IT service management principles.

  • Proficient in infrastructure management, with hands-on experience in modern application development and operations. Knowledge in Windows Server, Azure, SCCM/Intune, VMware, Cisco Meraki, Citrix the Microsoft collaboration platform and security suit as well as the Jira suite preferred.

  • Familiarity with LEAN principles and Agile methodologies, demonstrating an understanding of efficient, and operational processes.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a collaborative team player in team management.

  • Excellent command of English and Swedish, both in verbal and written form.

  • Strong documentation and presentation abilities.

  • Capable of logical and effective operation under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • Confident and discreet in interactions with both business and technical stakeholders.

  • Independent yet collaborative, able to contribute effectively as part of a team.

  • Service-oriented, with a keen understanding of stakeholder expectations.

  • Adaptable to a multi-cultural environment and committed to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
