We are seeking a Director of Programs to join our team. Compensation: $62,712 - $74,402 based upon experience The Director of Programs plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a specific program or service within their identified Division, responsible for program implementation and evaluation. Reporting to the Senior Director or Director, this position plays a key role in ensuring program quality, effectiveness, and impact. This role may manage a caseload of their own. This is a management position responsible for the direct supervision of assigned Campus Managers/Supervisors or Community House Managers and the oversight of assigned I/DD residences. Job Functions of the Director of Programs role: * Program Management and Quality Assurance: * Implement strategic plan activities as directed by Divisional leadership aligning with the organization's mission and goals * Oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned program(s), ensuring efficient delivery of services and adherence to budgetary constraints * Implement and provide feedback on policies and procedures related to program operations, staff management, and service delivery, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with organizational values and objectives. * Ensure that programs adhere to best practices, regulatory standards, evidence-based standards of care and Merakey policies and procedures. * Staff Leadership and Development: * Lead and supervise a team of professionals providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. * Oversee staff performance management processes, including regular evaluations, goal setting, and professional development planning and mentoring, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and values. * Implement disciplinary actions when necessary, following established protocols and ensuring fairness and consistency following organizational policies and applicable laws. * Lead recruitment and hiring processes for program staff, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, while ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion principles are upheld. * Manage timecards and attendance records for staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and procedures. * Coordinate scheduling and staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage for program activities and services. * Financial Management: * Take responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the assigned programs * Informs and participates in annual budget development in collaboration with senior leadership * Manages approved program budgets monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve financial sustainability. * Partnership Development and Stakeholder Engagement: * Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote program services and increase community awareness * Coordinate with communications staff to develop promotional materials, press releases, and online content to highlight program achievements and impact. * Compiles individual specific data such as medical history, unit of service, rates, staffing needs, etc. for all initial/annual IDT/LEP Assessments. * Collaborates with Behavior Specialist regarding Behavior Support Plan; submits to Peer Review; works with House Manager regarding response and plan of action; monitors adherence to plan. * Working with ED, coordinates new admissions to residences and participates in the reassignment of internal Consumer residence moves. * Participates in completion of Requisition Form for any change in individual/Staff status * Serves as a resource for House manager in determining activities in individuals' immediate neighborhoods. Fosters inc usion. * Analyzes weekly, monthly, quarterly reports submitted by House Managers to verify adherence to IDT/LEP; determines any changes needed or inconsistencies in services provided; and initiates changes as appropriate. * With ED makes appropriate funeral arrangements. * Routinely reviews and audits individual goal plan development and implementation to include completion by staff. * Conducts monthly supervisory 1:1 staff meetings. * After analysis of data/information regarding non-reportable medication errors, staffing patterns, and problem resolution ensures recommendation and corrective action are implemented. * Oversees staffing schedules with House Managers for all assigned residences to make sure schedules reflect budgeted hours. * Regularly inspects residences, surrounding landscape for cleanliness, furniture, appliances, and fire safety equipment for operability; recommends corrective action; and follows up to ensure compliance. * Directs emergency procedures i.e. Emergency Evacuation and Relocation Plan, Inclement Weather, etc. * Orients new House Managers. * Reviews Community House Manager training records and addresses non-compliance with applicable mandated training equipment. * Perform other duties as assigned.
