Our client, Carefusion is seeking a Machinist to join their team!

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Sumter, SC

Pay Range: $20.00/hr

Shift: 8:00am-8:00pm

What’s the Job?

  • Responsible for diagnosing and repairing machine breakdowns, including both mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Handle equipment such as motors, conveyors, and control systems

  • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.

  • Install and maintain mechanical and electrical components (e.g., gears, bearings, wiring, and control panels).

  • Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve speed of operation, waste, and breakdown issues.

What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).

  • 2-5 years of experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics) and electrical systems (e.g., wiring, control panels).
