The Hod Carrier is responsible for building structures with stone, concrete, and tile cutting; sharpening and dressing materials, lifting, carrying, and placing prepared blocks; constructing and repairing surfaces or structures; prepares surfaces prior to beginning work; fabricate, alter, repair, and maintain walls, sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathroom showers, and sink counters; partition, maintenance, and other related structures of surfaces; mixes cement using hoes, cement-mixing equipment, and/or hand tools; molds expansion joints and edging tools, jointers, and straightedge; operates equipment such as forklifts, dump trucks, and flatbeds. Job Information: Need 4 workers. Seasonal. Temporary H-2B season from 07/08/2024 - 12/30/2024 Wage Offer and Availability of Overtime Pay: Workers will be paid no less than \$24.50/hr. Overtime possible as needed, depending on weather or other conditions, at overtime wage, \$36.75. Worksite Locations: Potential worksites include the Southeast-Central Idaho Non-Metropolitan Statistical Area (Non-MSA), Idaho Falls, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA) and the Southwest Montana Non-MSA. Availability of on-the-Job Training: The employer does provide on-the-job training. Single Workweek for Pay: Payroll is done biweekly every other Thursday a single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Provision of Board/Lodging or Other Facilities: The employer does not provide any type of housing. Deductions from the Worker\'s Paycheck: The employer will make all deductions from the worker\'s paycheck required by law. Inbound/Outbound Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. Daily Transportation: Daily transportation to and from the job site will be provided by the employer. First Work Week Reimbursement: The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment: The employer will provide workers at no charge with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. 3/4 Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
