Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092. Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Clean, repair and\ maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment such as changing oil, cultivator parts; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment including manually laying out poly pipe; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as bush hog, combine, grain cart, digger, land plane, bedder, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, rice; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage\ facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping including mowing yard; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Water rice and soybeans fields-duties included walking rice/soybean fields, shoveling/repairing levees and washouts; Maintain/Service electric power units and well.
