IT Infrastructure Administrator - Networking and Security This position will be primarily responsible for assisting with the administration of security and network solutions across the globe. This position will also contribute to the IT infrastructure roadmaps and support IT project delivery as assigned by leadership. The ideal person for this role is a collaborative team-player who is comfortable learning and applying IT solutions in both an office and manufacturing setting. Responsibilities Routine administration and middle tier of break fix support for global WAN, LAN, and Security environments. Design, plan and implement projects that enhance the resiliency and security of global IT assets and systems across all Momentive Quartz Technologies locations. Provide escalation support and mentoring to global end user support teams. Provide excellent communication and documentation of activities through an online ticket management system for alert management, issue resolution, and request management. Partner with peers in IT systems, application, and SAP, along with outside partners and vendors to support IT solutions for the business. Participate in and contribute to status and planning meetings with IT Leadership and Manufacturing Operations staff as required. Learn and grow in technical skills by mentorship from Sr. administrators, formal training, and informal training. Maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and industry to perform research on best practices and new technologies, and to provide feedback on how Momentive can leverage new technologies. Skills and Knowledge Excellent organization and planning abilities to ensure projects are successfully delivered on-time and on-budget. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively share initiative status, issue escalations & resolutions, and other events as required to all levels of Manufacturing and IT organizations as appropriate. Ability to prioritize stakeholder requests and balance solution requirements to meet the needs of the sponsoring organization and stakeholders while aligning with global IT strategies. Experience with network and security technologies such as: Microsoft, Cisco, Watchguard, Palo Alto, BitDefender, zScaler, VeloCloud and Meraki. Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud PaaS/IaaS solutions. Education And Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent combination of training/education and experience. 2+ years of experience with network and security solutions. Experience with management of cloud-based solutions. Experience in a global manufacturing environment preferred.
