Animal Care Centre of Strathmore is welcoming Registered Veterinary Technologists to join our mixed animal practice in Strathmore, AB.
Have completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
Technical skills or knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
Passion to learn more within the role

About the Hospital
Here, at the Animal Care Centre of Strathmore, our team is the foundation of everything we do. ‘Because we care’ is the mantra that drives us and has led us to consistent growth. Our 10,000 square foot mixed practice facility with 8 vets, 10 RVT’s and 15 support team members allows us the opportunity to welcome a new team member who will be embraced and supported to flourish in their role. We have a genuinely unique environment that encourages quality and excellence in all that we do and strives for harmony to ensure a great working atmosphere, driven by honesty and transparency.
Since 2007, our commitment to family is what drives us to provide excellent veterinary care and exceptional customer service to everyone who walks through our doors.
