Nvidia Socket Board Engineer in STP, Hong Kong

Welcome to NVIDIA's Quality and Reliability Group where we strive to develop and continuously improve quality system for better customer experience! This position is critical in maintaining the quality of NVIDIA's Chip/Board product products.

We are looking for a Socket Board Engineer (SBE) in Hong Kong office who has a technical experience in PCBA debug, manufacturing/functional testing. He/she will support the product throughout the lifecycle of the product from NPI (new product introduction) to production release and later for resolving testing tool issue.

What you will be doing:

  • Closely monitor new product introduction schedule to prepare required hardware and software for test tools.

  • Bring up and manage test tools for new product.

  • Smoothly communicate in written and oral and timely response to internal and external customers on queries about the test tools including hardware and software.

  • Debug test tools returned from internal and external customers and perform repair actions in time.

  • Create documentation including but not limited to SOP, Checklist, Repair records, etc.

  • Maintain an inventory of test tools and equipment in good functional condition and calibrated.

    What we need to see:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Product/Testing/Application/Quality Engineering (or equivalent experience)

  • BS Degree or MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).

  • Experienced in PCBA failure analysis and debug.

  • Exposure to digital design, circuit analysis, schematic review, statistical analysis, firmware, drivers, and diagnostic software applications.

  • Comfortable with the use of lab tools (socket board, oscilloscopes, mustimeters, curve trace etc)

  • Outstanding problem-solving, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently across different functional teams.

    Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience of GPU products and standards is a plus.

  • Good Knowledge of GPU/CPU product infrastructure and test methodology

  • Strong technical/debug skills in test equipment and test program troubleshooting
