Vontier Technical Lead Engineer (Azure/C#) in Stow, Ohio

What you will do:

  • Innovate and Enhance: Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain cutting-edge web applications using Angular/React.

  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with client product owners and technical leadership to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Guide with Vision: Present technical solutions to client leadership and support software development activities.

  • Mentor and Support: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring high-quality code through reviews and low-level design assessments.

  • Hands-On Development: Actively code enhancements and new features, working alongside developers and QA teams to build quality products.

  • Project Management: Independently scope project requirements, including timelines, resources, and risk assessments. Lead project implementation with cross-functional teams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by providing direction and mentoring to other developers and/or outside consultants.

  • Educational Background : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in web application development.

  • Azure Services: Expertise in Azure services like AKS (Kubernetes), Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Networking, and Serverless Architecture.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in .NET Core, C#, MVC, Javascript, WebAPI, SQL Server, and desktop frameworks like WPF, Maui.NET, Prism, or Avalonia.

  • Cloud and CI/CD: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, SQL Server Integration Services, and CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps.

  • Microservices and Containerization: Knowledge of microservices architecture, Azure cloud services, Docker containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform.

  • Collaboration Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to explain protocols and processes to team members, management, and users.

  • Design Patterns: Strong knowledge of design patterns such as Repository, CQRS, and Domain Driven Development (DDD).

The base compensation range for this position is $112,000 to $160,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based on a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
