Salary: $85,000-$90,000/yr.

Job Summary

Lead a dynamic team in delivering world-class dining experiences in Stony Brook, NY as the Director of Dining Services.

This role is ideal for an ambitious leader who excels in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is committed to excellence. Ensure flawless service and exceptional culinary offerings while encouraging a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize operational processes to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow

• Lead the coordination and integration of efforts among operations and technology

• Ensure an adequate and safe work environment

• Plan, control, evaluate, and monitor budgets, food costs, labor, and inventory

• Manage the field of employee discipline and terminations in accordance with Company policy

• Review and analyze business procedures to identify areas for improvement

• Assist in the recruitment and training of staff according to business requirements and established guidelines.

• Coordinate and manage work schedules, including weekends and night hours

• Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred: BS in Hospitality or Culinary degree, or equivalent experience

• Three to five years of food service operation experience

• Multi-unit experience preferred

• Proven experience in handling large-scale production and catering operations

• Previous experience managing a budget

• A strong desire to learn and grow with an exceptional foodservice company
