Location: Labman HQ, Seamer, North Yorkshire

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (based on experience)
Labman is on the lookout for a dynamic Event Coordinator with a flair for orchestrating high-stakes events worldwide. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of planning and executing diverse events, from networking with external partners to ensuring fantastic attendee experiences. Your multifaceted responsibilities include evaluating key metrics, managing budgets, and collaborating on exhibition stand designs with our engineering teams. As a key player in our marketing team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring targeted event strategies cater to the diverse industries we serve. In this role you will be:
Planning and executing a growing calendar of external & internal events worldwide.
Networking with external partners, sponsors, or other stakeholders to enhance event quality and outcomes.
Ensuring successful coordination, promotion, and positive attendee experiences.
Evaluation of key metrics from exhibitions to measure success.
Event budget management.
Updating CRM campaigns, and ensuring child campaigns, such as emailers, etc. are delivered in a timely manner in conjunction with the Content team.
Continually improving exhibition stand design; working with our events engineers to ensure stand designed are iterated on.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams for event strategies.
Coordinating the work of the business support team for shipping, carnets, packaging, and more.
Assisting business development teams with their event presence and ambitions.
Liaising with customers to arrange meetings at events and post-events, whilst helping to build a solid and ever-growing customer reference list.

Have two or more years' experience working in an events coordination role (or similar administrative position).
Have proven experience in event planning and execution.
Have strong project management and communication skills.
Are proactive and very eager to learn quickly, with the capacity for independent initiative.
Are a creative thinker - always keen to keep Labman ahead of the curve.
Are a great team player and positive thinker.
Have strong communication skills.
Have a willingness to take on challenges.
Can build relationships, collaborate in Labman's wider areas and build knowledge of the laboratory automation industry.
Have knowledge of Labman's industry and mission.
Good copywriting skills, with a flair for customer-focused, creative copy that is engaging whilst being highly accurate.
Experience arranging events in other countries, with knowledge of shipping procedures and carnets.
