Description
We are seeking a Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. Based in the Stockton, California region, the company offering this long-term temporary-to-full-time position provides an excellent work environment where effort is rewarded. Your responsibilities
Monitor accounts by balancing entries
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Oversee and manage general ledger
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping
Support quality archived records by filing documents
Requirements
Prior experience using accounting software
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Deep understanding of general ledger
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Job Cost experience
Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
