THE OPPORTUNITY
As our new Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role in Ivalua’s continued growth in the region. You would work with a market leading product, a great team and have a healthy base of happy customers to draw referrals and references from. We expect you to be willing to work hard to make to most of it and apply creativity, teamwork and tenacity to find, progress and close large enterprise deals. You would be working with the largest organizations in the Nordic region. This requires skills to able to orchestrate the complexity involved and to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
We believe you are a person who are self-motivated. You understand B2B sales is a team sport and can inspire prospects as well as the internal team you work with. We believe you are a confident person who can challenge customers in a productive way, so you provoke thought and action.
Selling Ivalua successfully requires curiosity, imagination and empathy. We believe that an account executives’ role is like that of a great chef. Your job is to make sure that we produce something in the sales process that stands out from the ordinary and impresses the prospect. Your role is not to do anything but to orchestrate the experience and outcome. You should also take pride in your work and make sure we do not send out anything that does not meet the standard you set. So it is maybe not the simplest of sales roles but for the right person it will be lucrative and a lot of fun!
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
Exceed annual sales targets
Develop an Enterprise Account Plan for each account, then drive the execution of that plan to success
Prospecting, building pipeline, and selling Ivalua Solutions to net new Enterprise accounts
Engage with C-level executives to position strategic value proposition and quarterback the deal to closure
Provide pro-active, trusted thought leadership to target accounts
Orchestrate prospect and internal teams to collaboratively build Customer Strategy Plans
Develop and deliver world-class Executive Sales proposals to C-level prospects
Accurate forecasting (benchmark +/- 10%)
Maintain the system of record within our internal system
YOUR PROFILE
If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:
Skills and Experience:
10 years of direct enterprise software sales experience
Procurement or Supply Chain domain knowledge
Expert selling value to the enterprise
Consistent and proven track record of achieving / exceeding sales quota
Strong executive presence – very comfortable with C-level executives
Expertise in managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing large deals
Ability to prospect within greenfield accounts
Organized and specific experience with enterprise account planning
Ability to identify strategic client pains and develop unique and compelling value propositions that focus on delivering business value to the client
Successful at engaging with all levels in an organization, great at building relationships and working within a team-selling environment
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Strong financial acumen
