In this role, you will combine technical depth, consulting acumen, and exceptional communication skills. You’ll engage with client C-suites as a trusted advisor while also guiding and sparring with developer teams. Your contributions will shape the future of Data & AI in Sweden while delivering measurable business value to clients.
What you'll do:
Solution Delivery
Design and deliver large-scale Data & AI solutions that align with client goals and modern best practices.
Provide technical leadership in at least two of the following areas: Reporting Solutions: Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, using modern architectural patterns (e.g., Delta, Lambda, Kappa). Data & AI Strategy: Creating operational models and aligning AI initiatives with business goals. Generative AI: Leveraging Databricks Mosaic AI and Microsoft AI Services.
Client Engagement
Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to C-suite executives, translating technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
Focus on the Swedish market, building strong relationships with local clients and stakeholders.
Support pre-sales activities and proactively originate opportunities by identifying client challenges and aligning them with Avanade’s capabilities.
Team Collaboration
Mentor junior team members and ensure delivery quality across projects.
Collaborate across teams to maintain excellence in delivery and align solutions with business growth objectives.
Thought Leadership
Contribute to Avanade’s thought leadership initiatives, such as speaking engagements and content creation, to showcase our Data & AI expertise in the Nordics.
Advocate for modern Data & AI technologies and methodologies both internally and externally.
Skills and Experiences
Deep Technical Expertise: Proven delivery experience in at least two of the following: Reporting solutions on Azure (e.g., Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI) with modern architecture patterns. Data & AI operational strategy and business alignment. Generative AI use cases using Databricks Mosaic AI and Microsoft AI Services.
Strategic Communication: Confidence in engaging with executives and presenting complex solutions in clear business terms.
Developer Engagement: Ability to collaborate with and mentor developer teams to ensure alignment and quality in delivery.
Technical Leadership: Experience leading teams in delivering impactful Data & AI projects.
Languages: Fluency in Swedish (spoken and written) is strongly preferred. English fluency is required.
In addition, these will help you stand out:
Azure certifications such as Solutions Architect Expert or Data Engineer Associate.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps in Data & AI projects.
Familiarity with modern data architectures such as Lakehouse or Data Vault.
Cross-functional leadership experience in global or regional teams.
