Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health Audio Visual Technician in Stockbridge, Massachusetts

POSITION SUMMARY The Audio-Visual Technician is responsible for providing AV support for all programs, events, and meetings in addition to assisting with all elements of classroom set up. The AV tech is also responsible for determining equipment needs and training end users on how to operate AV equipment properly and safely. Accountabilities - Set up classroom and AV equipment for all programs, events, and meetings. This includes, but is not limited to, seating, yoga props and program supplies, installation and maintenance of microphones, speakers, display devices, projectors, televisions, video cameras, and computers. - Set-up and engineer live concerts. - Set-up and support livestream programs. - Provide AV system training to faculty and assistants. - Anticipate the needs of faculty and guests and provide excellent customer service. - Understand and follow AV procedures and workflows, completing tasks in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. - Effectively troubleshoot A/V issues. - Complete equipment inspection, repair and preventive maintenance as assigned. - Assist with inventory management and upkeep of AV shop. - Provide coverage or perform special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, within Production and in other areas of the organization when needed. OBS, WireCast, Vmix, etc.
