This position reports to the Manager of Procurement Services and will assist in managing OSUs Facilities Management Procurement Services Office and Warehouse, and University Mailing Services. This includes purchasing, inventory, and supply chain services.\ \ This team performs 30% of all purchasing atOSU Provides support and oversees the supervision of the warehouse and theOSUCentral Freight Receiving/Shipping Assists Manager of Procurement Services with managing the accounting and budgeting for all Procurement Services and University Mailing Services Assists Manager of Procurement Services with generating work orders, inputting data such as postage, surcharges, etc, and finalizing work orders through theUMSSwebsite.\ \ Selling stamps and otherUSPSpostage in person and viaAIRSCVIs, acts as a liaison toUSPS, completes appropriate paperwork to send toUSPSdaily, deposits and maintainsCPUchecking account.\ \ Receive, sort, and deliver trackable packages/parcels under 150 lbs across campus. Create labels for outbound shipments. Serve as a Passport Acceptance Agent by scheduling appointments for customers, processing new applications, collecting appropriate fees, tracking records to certify delivery, and answering questions on an as-needed basis.\ \ Develops, tracks, and submits metrics for Procurement Services andUMS. Ensures compliance withOSUand FM policies and procedures regarding Procurement Services andUMS.\ \ Due to the communication expectations of this position, the incumbent will be required to maintain a personal cell phone and be continually available during and after normal working hours.\ \ A minimum of 40 hours per work week is required; longer hours may be required when the situation warrants. Must be able to occasionally move about or remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly positions self to fulfill the duties of the position which include overseeing work in the warehouse.\ \ This position regularly stands, bends, stoops, lifts above the shoulders, can be heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally. The candidate must also be physically capable of performing mail/parcel route delivery when necessary.UMSoperations include working with motorized equipment.\ \ Hazardous/Infectious substances are shipped fromUMS.\ \ Must use personal protective equipment (PPS) as required.
