Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Candidates will be working at assembly benches using small hand tools and will be given a blueprint but will be taught how to read it. Every 20 minutes the product should move from one station to the next so they need to be able to stay on task. They will be making the same product over and over again so once trained on it, it will be very repetitive.
Responsibilities
Assembly
Bench work processes: deburring, sharpening tools, polishing, sanding, sand blasting, washing parts, drying parts, part marking, O2 cleaning etc.
Packaging parts for shipment
Visually inspect parts while working to ensure quality is to accepted standard
Notify area supervisor of any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
Perform all tasks in a safe and proper manner, and keep a clean and organized work area
Ensure all tasks are done in accordance with customer requirements and/or company policy

Work Environment
Shift (Day): Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm. Overtime may be required and sometimes optional. May have to work on Saturdays or weekends to get the job completed. The facility has a total of 65 people at the location. Each candidate has their own workbench and can sit down in a chair while working. The facility is temperature controlled and never goes outside of 2 degrees of 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Physical demands include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, carrying, and lifting parts from the floor to above the head; exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. Visual acuity is necessary to read measuring devices, machine gauges, drawings, and equipment instruments. Employees must wear safety equipment when exposed to high noise levels, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, fumes, dust, mist, and skin exposure to oils, cleaning, and cutting fluids. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00
