Description:
Sales engineering will answer inquires and manager projects that are all already established from their dealers, Sales engineer will take inbound emails / calls and work through the project using Autocad, and engineering background . Never any cold calls these are warm calls and they already have the sales just need to finish out the project. Position is 75% desk answering emails. finishing out projects, 25% phones, talking to the customer on where they are at in the project , helping through any issues that arise with the project. Candidate will be very busy the day will go fast as there is a lot of stuff to get done. Autocad will be used in figuring out project and products for customres

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must haves: 2+ years experience designing or drafting in Autocad (this can be from school courses) 1+ years in a Customer service role (Ability to work with Customers able to speak on the phone) Nice to haves: General understanding Structural steel background Bachelors degree in civil or structural Education/Experience Required Minimum of a 2-year Mechanical or Civil Technology/Engineering Degree. Proficient in AutoCAD Proven ability to manage multiple jobs at one time 0-5 years of experience working in a design or sales position, preferably in a steel manufacturing setting. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * General understanding of steel manufacturing methods and processes such as welding, forming, drilling, etc. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Excellent math skills. Basic computer skills, MS Office Good Interpersonal/Communication skills Excellent troubleshooting skills Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision Must be quality and detail oriented Ability to work in a fast paced environment
