Collins Aerospace is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Mission Systems team in Sterling, VA. As a key liaison, you'll interface between our dynamic material and supply organization and technical experts, ensuring seamless operations and advising on strategic processes. With a focus on reviewing and optimizing a diverse range of materials and services, evaluating bids, and selecting top-tier suppliers to achieve program goals, your role will directly impact our mission-critical objectives. What You Will Do:
Serve as the primary liaison between the material and supply organization, interfacing with technical personnel to advise on internal processes and operations.
Review a diverse range of materials, supplies, and services in high volume to ensure quality and efficiency.
Evaluate bids, selects, and recommends suppliers or components to meet program objectives, ensuring follow-up until order completion.
Develop solutions to complex problems, leveraging established precedents and policies, influencing organizational objectives and goals.
Network with senior internal and external stakeholders in the field, demonstrating strong judgment in problem-solving methodologies.
Participate in setting objectives for assignments and plans schedules independently to achieve goals, with work reviewed upon completion.
Act as a key organizational representative on contracts or projects, engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Operate within ERP systems to manage outcomes for assigned commodity types, receiving minimal instruction for day-to-day tasks and general guidance on new assignments.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
Hands on experience with SAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel.

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
