General Dynamics Land Systems Project Coordinator Design Services Engineering in Sterling Heights, Michigan

About the Role: GDLS is seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator who will be responsible for tracking and maintaining the status of models and drawings through Teamcenter, a PLM (Project Life Cycle Management) software. The successful candidate will provide technical input for designs and work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to ensure that all models and drawings are up-to-date and accessible. Ensure that all models and drawings are up-to-date and accessible through Teamcenter. Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure that all models and drawings meet quality and regulatory standards. Monitor and report on the status of models and drawings to project stakeholders. Identify and mitigate risks related to the management of models and drawings. Provide support and training to project team members on the use of Teamcenter. Update and Review Drafting Standards and Technical Data Package (TDP) Requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications / What you must have Bachelor of Science in and Engineering discipline, Design, Manufacturing or related. 5+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience working with PLM software, preferably Teamcenter.Knowledge of CAD tools such as CREO or NX are a plus Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications. Be a self-starter and working in a fast paced environment. The candidate will need to have strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of team Additional Information Prior experience working on ground based Military Vehicles a plus.
