We are hiring a Program Manager for our Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) Program Management team to support the Full Rate Production Program. This position will be an integral part of a diverse team of professionals and subject matter experts fulfilling challenging technical requirements for our dynamic customers. The Program Manager will support both longer term and urgent short duration projects proposal requirements. Team activities consist of a variety of tasks and work directives for the sustainment of the AMPV Family of Vehicles that include system design, procurement, fabrication, integration, testing and evaluation, installation, and fielding support for our AMPV Family of Vehicles. The Program Manager is a developmental role for candidates that are interested in our mission, excited about our programs, and want to build a strong foundation for a Program Management career with us.
This position can be located at any major CMS site of Minneapolis, MN, Sterling Heights, MI, or York, PA.
The role is Hybrid where you will be onsite a minimum of 3 days a week.
Must be able to travel periodically to support program and customer meetings. With an average of 15% of travel.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and support program proposal management and execution plans to ensure program requirements and statements of work are captured and scheduled.
Support proposal / estimating, full rate production, Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) analyses, and project subcontract and execution plan development.
Support day-to-day activities to coordinate and manage AMPV projects for performance compliance with cost estimates, plan schedules, and status reporting requirements within established company practices to identify and mitigate program risks and meet project commitments.
Development, analysis, and review of project reports and other program documentation.
Monitor metrics and provide coordination and support, as required, to program leadership and program management reviews.
Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure estimates for contracts are within acceptable parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Support Program Risk Management, Supply Chain, and Subcontractor activities.
Support process development, improvement, and implementation initiatives identifying technical and business resources needed.
Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Support Program Management Reviews and Lifecycle Management activities.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field of study) and 6 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (scheduling, financial reporting, and analysis)
Knowledge of Product Development or Sustainment
Ability to initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to lead diverse matrixed team comprised of operations, production support, supply chain, engineers, logisticians, finance, scheduling, and other subject matter experts
Ability to communicate effectively with excellent oral and written communications skills to express complex technical/operational concepts to program leadership, customers, superiors, staff, and stakeholders
Ability to work independently to develop approaches to solutions
Resourceful with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
A self-starter able to effectively build and lead teams
Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
Experience in Program/Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), or Lifecycle Management (LCM)
Experience in Risk and Opportunity Management (R&O)
Experience in US Army program execution or US Military
Experience in Windchill or other database software
Experience in Web-based presentations
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
