Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motor Coach driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting coaches to various destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate motor coaches, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, performing routine inspections and basic mechanical checks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding schedules, routes, and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Document daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or incidents promptly.
- Adhere to scheduled routes while being flexible to accommodate changes as necessary.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving.
- Previous experience in limousine, bus driving, school bus driving, paratransit, or as a van driver is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with passengers of diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A commitment to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
